HAPPY NEW YEAR, 2010 - a new decade begins!  May it increase compassion and sweetness on the planet!  (That's already begun.)

My article in Dell has finally been published.  It's entitled "Destiny in the Balance: America's Role in the Great Cosmic Plan ~ The Prophecies & Predicaments Leading up to 2012".  It was written last April but held for publishing until the January issue.  It's on newsstands now but a little hard to find because the publisher's been cutting back. This was a very meaningful article for me to write because it pulled together many disparate factors that I've been writing and blogging about for years, such as the presidential election, this administration, the economic outlook, the prophecies, 2012, America's destiny, and more, allowing me to put everything into the broadest context.  It gives a mixed outlook for our nation and humanity but offers lots of possibility depending on how we handle the great schisms of today's world.
 
That's where the article can be meaningful for you, too.  Even if you're not "into" astrology - heck, even if you don't believe in it! - you can probably resonate to subtitles such as The Promise & The Predicament; The Glamour & The Spell; Patterns of Confusion and Hardship, Patterns of Idealism and Mission; Rebellion Builds; The Prophecies; The Mayan/Mexico Connection; Achievement and Flaw; The Infusion of Light; The "Benefit" of Misguided Idealism; The Eagle's Stance: Choosing Peace, Maintaining Power; Capping the Pyramid; and Glimpses of the Great Design for Humanity: The New Order of the Ages.
 
The awakening of the individual is key.  It's what The Aquarian Age is all about - people power, individual rights, group consciousness; humanity learning its intrinsic co-creative muscle as resides in the self but is manifested in the world.  For instance, the Wall Street Journal just ran a piece on the economy called "It All Depends on You, Shoppers!".  So YOUR brain and YOUR heart are creating this world and this future.  If you're unconscious, you'll be schlepped along!  But if you become more conscious, then you will make the lighted future.  Humanity is far from being in danger of termination... we have a lot more work to do!
