How do you develop a child's motor and mental skills during their formative years? Tumble Tots have the answer.

Tumble Tots the UK's leading physical play programme for children from six months to seven years. The programme has been designed specifically to develop children's skills of agility, balance, climbing and co-ordination as well as their positive social skills of self-confidence and self-esteem. The Tumble Tots programme develops a child's motor and mental skills during their formative years. The programme serves to prepare a child for his school years, with sessions for children of different age groups. Tasks are assigned according to the capabilities of each age group, which also allows children of the same age to socialise.

Age Groups:

Gymbabes (six months to walking) -The  Gymbabes programme offers babies an opportunity to socialise in an environment that enables their natural abilities of exploring, crawling...etc to flourish.  The programme involves parents, who with guidance, help stimulate and encourage babies to use all their senses gently and without pressure.

Tumble Tots - walking to two-years - A class for children who have started to walk confidently, parents now turn their attention to encouraging their child to climb, jump, roll and other elementary physical activity which will stimulate their body awareness. Tumble Tots - two to three years -Sessions are based around "activity stations" which form the basis for various task sequences designed to enable children to develop their sense of balance, co-ordination and agility. Tumble Tots - three years to school age - Class leaders focus on setting more challenging task sequences for building a child's co-ordination, ball skills, body awareness and controlled body movements. Collectively, a combination of activity features further develops children's confidence and social abilities.

Gymbobs - school age to seven years - These are for Tumble Tots graduates or children of school going age. Gymbobs offer children more challenging tasks, they also learn to develop physical skills without using equipment and are introduced to the concept of teamwork and relays.

What is your baby thinking about?

Find out with TinyTalk baby signing!

Babies have so much to say, long before they can talk.

Help them to express themselves- and encourage their speaking skills too.

TinyTalk was the first national baby signing organisation across the UK, established in 2002. We now teach the benefits of baby signing to over 5000 young families each week. Our award-winning classes are loved for their "buzz" and have been described as "the best bits of all the other classes, put together!"

Why sign with your baby?

Signing babies are:

-       happy J (as they are understood)

-       content (as they are so much less frustrated)

-       visual (always looking out for the next thing to tell you about)

-       little chatterboxes! (as their signs help them to talk to you)

At TinyTalk Baby Signing Classes, we'll teach you the fun way.

We teach useful signs through singing well-known nursery rhymes and action songs, playing with colourful puppets and toys and sharing entertaining stories. We'll even serve up a coffee, chocolate biscuits and allow you plenty of time to chat with your friends and play with your baby.

We also offer TinyTalk Toddler Classes which are more active classes, with language games and even a parachute.

And what about joining the team? Would you like to work with your baby? At TinyTalk you can!

October is International Walk to School Month

Living Streets Walk to School Campaign will be leading the UK alongside other 40 countries around the world encouraging children and parents to ditch the school run and get walking this October.

We'd like to support anyone who wants to start walking to school - whether that's all the way, parking up and walking the last 10 minutes, or just jumping off the bus two stops early.  It all counts!

It's also an opportunity for parents and schools to join in with others to call on their local councils to introduce 20 mph speed limits across their areas; helping to create safe, enjoyable and attractive streets where children and their parents want to walk to school.

Find out how to get involved here >>
