What's on 4 Junior Awards 2011 Triumph!
Our Junior Awards took place last week at the Hilton Cobham - welcoming over 100 VIP guests, sponsors and supporters and those finalists and winners that you, the UK's parents voted as the very best! These awards were our biggest and most successful to date with over 32,000 online votes cast and a record 18 awards with 4 new categories!
Presented by Jo Tantum (the UK's number 1 baby sleep expert, author and Prima Baby columnist) and parenting expert Sue Akins (founder of Positive Parents and as seen on BBC Breakfast ) it was an amazing, inspiring and emotional day as the winners and finalists enjoyed their moment to much applause! All finalists and winners received certificates and the community award winners took home some fantastic prizes all followed by a well-deserved champagne lunch.
Big thanks have to go to all those of you who voted and nominated, to our Headline Sponsor Konfidence, to the Hilton Cobham and to Prima Baby for all their support. The Apple Cart Festival
Looking for somewhere to take your little ones where there's as much to keep you entertained as there is them this summer? The Apple Cart Festival is a new one-day event coming to East London's Victoria Park this August, catering for adults and children alike.
With everything from Mercury award winning musicians (Saint Etienne, Soul II Soul, Badly Drawn Boy, The Magic Numbers, Steve Mason), award garnering comedians (think Tim Minchin, Jon Richardson, Abandoman, and more), conjuring Magic circle members, the acclaimed Art Car Boot Fair, a new bespoke interactive art project from The House of Fairytales, Penguin book readings and much more, there really is something for all the family.
The Apple Cart aims to create a kaleidoscopic,  colourful playground for adults and kids with more talent and off-kilter activities to be announced in the lead up to the day.
