Bunny Bingo in time for Easter!
 Tracey Benton, author of Birthday Party, has designed a simple Easter-themed game for children of all ages.
Bunny Bingo is a take on traditional bingo and is great for birthday parties and rainy holidays. It's also a good tool to help younger children familiarise themselves with numbers.
Tracey has provided six re-usable cards, instructions on how to play and all the numbers to cut up and put in a hat.
All you have to do is print everything off on your home printer and you're ready to go. Even better Bunny Bingo is available as a FREE download from her website.
Tracey says, 'I have fond memories of playing HOUSE with my brothers. That's what we used to call it - but it's Bingo by any other name. There was a really old set at my grandparents that used to belong to my mum when she was younger. Whenever it was chucking it down outside, out came the game and it would keep us quiet for a while. I always used to want to be the caller and got really excited when 88 or 66 came up so that I could shout 'two fat ladies' or 'clickety click'. It's such a simple game and great fun for all the family.' |

 As a children's party organiser myself I have high standards for my own children's parties and booked Jonathan's Jungle Roadshow for our son's 7th birthday hoping this would be a great opportunity to get up close with some unusual animals instead of behind glass at the zoo!
A HugeTitan Stick Insect
Jonathan, it must be said, was amazing! He not only has a way with animals, but with children and adults too! His calm, patient, professional and hugely enthusiastic presentation captivates all that listen.
He took us on an intoxicating ride full of fascinating information and facts. We all learned about, handled and totally changed our perceptions of his varied animals and insects all under his expert guidance.
The whole party was a complete success, loved by all that attended - in fact so much so that we booked him again for our 11 year old daughter's birthday later in the year which was a great success too - blowing our perceptions again - that it was a party just for boys!
Jonathan's Jungle Roadshow will travel anywhere within a 30-40 mins drive from Swindon so that includes Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham, Oxford, Newbury and anywhere in between!

ANCHOR CHOCOLATE FLAVOUR MOUSSE BOUNCING BUNNY EASTER CUP CAKES
 Makes: Approx 18 'rabbits'
You will need:
225g (8oz) Anchor Spreadable butter
225g (8oz) Caster sugar
225g (8oz) self raising flour
5ml (1tsp) Baking Powder
4 medium eggs
5ml (1tsp) vanilla extract
Cake cases
Black grapes, halved (for feet)
Anchor Chocolate Flavour Mousse Real Dairy Cream
Mini marshmallows (for noses & eyes) or white chocolate chips
Tube black icing or currants
Dried mango or apricots, cut into thin strips (for whiskers)
How to make:
Preheat oven to Gas 4 180C 350F
Place into a large bowl the: Anchor Spreadable butter, sugar, flour, baking powder, eggs and vanilla extract.
Beat together until the mixture is thoroughly combined together and creamy in texture.
Place a large spoonful of the mixture into each paper case.
Place into preheated oven and cook for about 20 mins until well risen and golden.
Allow to cool before decorating
Slice a piece off the top of the cake to make the ears - cut in half to make two ears (use a cocktail stick if you like to make the ears really stand up - but warn those about to eat them!).
Push ears into the back edge of the cake. Squirt with Anchor Chocolate Mousse; add the grapes for feet and marshmallows for eyes and nose. Finish off with black eyes and whiskers - serve straight away or make up the 'rabbits' and eat as you go!! For more fruity recipe ideas, visit www.anchorsquirtymoments.co.uk |
