In addition to our regular shopping hours between 12 - 5, the MoCo Shop will be having an Open House between 2-6pm. This means the shop will be open but we welcome everyone to come for warm hot chocolate, some nibbles, fresh deals and door prizes.
We will also be having a reading of some of our new books and the wonderful tale of The Mitten Tree.

Donate to Our Mitten Tree
Please bring in mittens, gloves, hats and scarves that you or your child don't need and place them on our mitten tree. From teeny ones for babies to big ones for grandpa. When its full we will donate them to families in Central, MA.

Help Others Eat This Season
All through the month, we ask that you go through your cabinets and pantries and bring in any non-perishables that you'd like to donate to the Worcester County Food Bank. Bring it into MoCo and we'll bring it to the WCFB as the box fills!
What does WCFB recommend as donations? Soup, stew and chili, dry and canned pasta, macaroni and cheese, cereal, rice, and beans, canned fruits and vegetables, canned tuna and chicken, peanut butter and jelly...no glass, please.

MoCo Reads Barefoot Books!
MoCo reads is back for some fun story hours in December. On Friday December 10th and Saturday December 18th at 10am, join Barefoot Books Ambassador and MoCo Member, Lori Brazell, as she reads from some wonderful Barefoot Books.
Get ready to kick off your boots, and bring a blanket(or two!) to snuggle up with as we read. What are Barefoot Books? Here's their mission: Explore. Imagine. Create.Connect. Give back. That's what Barefoot Books is all about. It's exploring other cultures, our planet,ourselves. It's about making time for make-believe and letting imaginations run wild and free. Most of all it's about using the power of stories to nourish the creative spark in everyone and strengthen connections with family, the global community, and the earth.

Instead of going to those big stores that are owned by big corporations...shop local. We had almost 40 applicants to participate as vendors in our Annual Holiday Bazaar and we chose the best 13. These are local women and all but one make the items themselves!
