Brrr...it's so cold there's actually the scent of snow in the air...did you notice it? That must mean two things: the holidays are coming and you must get to MoCo for our Annual Holiday Bazaar & Open House and that it's time to figure out what you're going to do with your time this Winter.
If you're human, and if you're reading this there's a good bet you are. Okay, now that we've establshed that...it's a good idea, especially around the holidays, to brush up on your CPR, first aid and safety skills. Just in time for you to learn how to save a life, prevent an injury or care for someone who is injured, we've got the perfect classes for you in December. Friends & Family CPR, Pediatric First Aid and Childproofing Essentials & Beyond (see below for dates). You just never know when your uncle, mother, nephew or your own child might need your help, this time of year or anytime.
If you're expecting a baby, your childbirth and prenatal classes should be on your calendar. We just added more classes to our calendar, including a new Childbirth Basics class, a one-day-long class which is perfectly paired with our Movement & Comfort for Labor class. And our Class Packages are ready for purchase...add other prenatal classes to your registration and get big discounts. Oh, one more thing...if you're on bedrest, we can usually accommodate you during classes on our daybed. Just ask in advance. Remember, information is bliss!
If you have children, we have great activities you can do! We just added a couple new classes, YogaKids!, a fun fitness and relaxation series for kids aged 3-5 and Special Babies: Developing Skills, a weekly series for families with babies with special needs (8 weeks-18 months or so).
We know that the holiday season can be stressful and you can feel hurried and under pressure. It can also be joyful and relaxing. Let us help. In the shop, we've done a lot of the work of vetting products for you. Our classes, groups and events are made just for you, to inspire you and your children. And now we have Kimberly, a Reiki Master with whom you can schedule an appointment for reiki and chakra balancing in our newly redesigned consultation room. It's really relaxing! Looking for massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, reflexology, a doctor, a midwife, a doula...let us give you a referral. We're happy to help.

Annual Holiday Bazaar & Open House

The MoCo Shop will be open with warm hot chocolate, some nibbles, fresh deals, and door prizes. We will also be having a reading of some of our new books and the wonderful tale of The Mitten Tree.

Please bring in mittens and gloves and place them on our mitten tree from teeny ones for babies to big ones for grandpa. When its full we will donate them to families in Central, MA. |
