We've also added a couple features to our online registration software, MindBodyOnline. There's now a tab that says "Find It!". If you click on that, it'll take you to a page where you can click on Classes & Events on the top right and then it'll ask you a series of questions and provide you with answers about our schedule. You may also search for class package deals with the Class Packages link and you can purchase items from our Partner Stores (primarily yoga and healthy living items which ship to you directly from the individual Partner Store, not from Mothers & Company). Try it!
Additionally, there are two things on our website we'd like to highlight, the fact that we now rental hospital-grade breastpumps and that we have a huge list of our favorite books and DVDs that you can purchase via our Amazon Associates Store within our site. See below for details.
|
Milk Central The M and the C in Mothers & Company also stand for Milk Central! MoCo now has several hospital-grade breastpumps for rent. The Medela Symphony pump is now available
for daily, weekly or monthly rental. This pump is ideal for those who are trying to establish breastmilk production, increase production and even maintain milk supply. Most hospitals use this pump with their postpartum mommas. We also have all the accessories
you might need, including specialty items like spoon-feeders,

For the Love of Music
Summer Music Sampler
Our Tuesday class was so popular that it is full...so we added another class that starts THIS Thursday at 9:45 am.
Come enjoy some music that will keep you and your child/ren moving this
summer, using actual instruments and CDs, singing and movement. This
class is led by Julie Quimby, who is a music teacher at Pakachoag Music
School and she is also our Music Together instructor. Julie believes in
the Music Together philosophy, that all children can learn to sing in
tune, keep a beat, and participate with confidence in the music of our
culture, provided that their early environment supports such learning.
For children (ages newborn to Kindergarden) and their
parents/caregivers. Julie gets rave reviews and will have you and your
child(ren) dancing and singing in no time!
$60 for 1 child, $50 additional for 2 or more children
If you're interested in learning more about the Summer Music Sampler or registering, click here.

song! Come and enjoy a class where you and your child can interact with
others, sing songs, move to different kinds of music (classical,
R&B, jazz, swing, etc) and play with fun props that keep us moving
and improvising! Led by mother and music specialist Patti Lahey, who has
25 years of experience leading families in music and movement. For
parent (or caregiver) and child, 1-3 yrs.
$80 for six weeks (one child). $50 for one or more additional children.

Get Outdoors, Get Fit with Stroller Boot Camp
This gives new meaning to doing pushups with baby in tow! | Thanks to all the moms and kids that came out to try our new Stroller Boot Camp--and we're so glad you loved it!
For those of you who missed it, we had two free sessions and found that not as many people wanted a Monday session but a LOT of people wanted Wednesday. We also know that some people might prefer a morning or to work out two days in a row. We also heard that moms with toddlers and preschoolers would like to join in and know that if the weather was rainy, that the session would be extended instead of being held indoors. So, we made two changes:
It's now scheduled for Tuesdays from 10:30 am - 11:30 am (starting July 13) and stays scheduled on Wednesdays from 2:30 - 3:30 pm (starting July 14).
Interested?
Enjoy
the beautiful scenery and
shady trees of the West Boylston Rail Trail and get a full body
workout. This hour long session will incorporate both upper and lower
body exercises that will get your heart beating and muscles burning.
Exercises
may include resistance tubes, body weight training (you and
your baby) and nature's own gym equipment! If you are a babywearer,
bring a carrier so if your child prefers to be worn, you'll get an even
better workout! Strollers with bigger wheels are necessary, as the
trail is NOT paved the whole way and there may be mud or uneven areas. We have found that even snap-n-go-type strollers can work, though, just
look at your stroller's wheels and practice running over grass and
uneven dirt and see if it works. There is some jogging involved! :)
REGISTER for the entire six weeks series (you know you'll be more likely to come if you've committed to it...), or call
508.835.6666 if you're being spontaneous and we can register you via
telephone for a drop-in.
To see a map
of the WB Rail Trail, click here. And please note that
while the WB Rail Trail was closed for part of last year (and the WB
town website says it still is closed), it is OPEN and in good shape!
Register HERE for one or both Stroller Boot Camps that starts on Tuesday, July 13th at 10:30 am, $80 and/or Wednesday, July 14 at 2:30 pm, $80 A
drop-in fee of $15 will be available if the minimum number of
registrants for the full series is met.
In case of inclement weather, the instructor will decide an hour before
class (or more). Call Mothers & Company at 508.835.6666 to find out
if there will be class. If it's been very rainy a day or two before
class, give a call because the trail may be too muddy for class...
If class is cancelled for weather or instructor illness, the session of
the class will run another week longer so everyone has a chance to make
up that class.
