This weekend it's all about you, guys...

|
It's the time of year that we celebrate dads. You help moms become moms, after all. You change diapers, rock babies to sleep, take toddlers for walks, teach preschoolers how to read and throw a ball. And most importantly, you love your kids. It's time to take some time to tell you that we love you and all you do!
As a small token of our appreciation, we're having a special event:
Father's Day Film Festival Saturday, June 19th 12:30 - 2:30 pm
Bring your lunch, your partner, your friends and your neighbors and come enjoy a couple of our favorite movies.
Being Dad: Inspiration and Information for Dads-to-Be is an 86 minute film that is for more than just those expecting a baby--it's also really fun for those who already have been dads (and moms) for a while. Watc h as 40 dads at 6 bars across the US (including at the Cask'n Flagon in Boston) talk about topics from finding out the big news that they're going to be a father through experiences during pregnancy and birth. It's funny, it's touching and it's educational. Come see it, you'll be glad you did. Watch the film's trailer here and as an additional father's day gift from the dad-producers of the film, watch the UK version for free (for a limited time only) and stream Being Dad 2: Bringing Home the Baby for a low price. Want the DVD as soon as possible as a gift? We have copies in store at Mothers & Company at a great price for Father's Day!It's My Body, My Baby, My Birth is a 27-minute film about birth that includes many dads talking about their participation in their baby's births and what it meant to them. It's a touching film which examines the emotional power of becoming parents through the birth experience. Watch the first three minutes of the film here. We love these movies and are happy to share them with you for this special event. Babies welcome. Moms welcome.
RSVPs appreciated. Click here to RSVP.
And mark your calendars for the next Daddy & Me Time gathering. For those
who are expecting a baby, have a baby, have a toddler, or even older
children. All dads and granddads are welcome. Saturday, July 17th,
2:00 - 4:00 pm. Call or see our website for details as the day
approaches. If the weather is good, it'll be an outdoor event!
We
hope you enjoy your Father's Day...whether you spend it with your
family or out for some time away, pat yourself on the back and enjoy the
day that is set aside to celebrate DADS!
We hope to see you
Saturday!
