Consignment Event a Success

Can you imagine how fun it was to go through all these clothes and find every piece is SUCH a great deal?!?
MoCo Consignment Event Pic 1

This past Saturday, the15th, we had our first consignment event.  It was a lot of fun and a great success!  Thanks to all of you who came out this week, especially all those who were so patiently wading through the crowd and the racks at the consignment sale.

We transformed our Green Room into another shop, all just for ONE day (see photo at right).  At 10:00 am we had a line and the tent outside
with lots of great toys and gear helped draw in some passers-by, too.  It was great to see some familiar faces as well as lots of new faces and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

Will we do this again?  We hope so!  However, in the interim, since we like to help save the planet and your pocket-book, check out these two places where you can get great deals on used clothing:  Children's Orchard Westborough, TeeterTots European Resale We had some of their clothing on sale during our event. We know the owners and they are good people!  And don't forget that our prices are always super-competitive to anywhere you can get the same item, whether it's online or in a bigger store.  And for no additional price and no shipping, you get superior service by experienced mommas!

Yes, we know...

Many people have approached us in the past and asked us, "do you know what "moco" means in Spanish?"  They always have a sheepish grin on their faces when they ask and there's hesitation before the question actually comes out...

There are lots of places across the US whose nickname is "moco", actually.  It's even a British telecom company.  But it does have an interesting translation.  We spell it with with a capital M and capital C...anyway...

So, in case you were wondering...
YES, we know that "moco" in Spanish means "mucous".  And we're perfectly fine with that.  Why?  Because mucous has a wonderful purpose in our bodies.  We won't go into the details, but mucous isn't just for the nose, you know...use your imagination, it helps you get pregnant, too.  And then you come to see us.

Yup, loco for MoCo.  You got it.  And proud of it!
THANK YOU!
