Mother's Day is almost here. You know it's a special day created to celebrate mothers. But every day is Mother's Day at Mothers & Company! As moms, we don't usually take time for
ourselves. Think about this question: what makes you happy? Of course, spending time with your
family makes you happy. But it's important to find balance and remember
to do something just for you...
- Maybe it's just a warm bath with your
favorite cup of tea.
- Maybe it's spending the day at a park with a good
book.
- Maybe it's sewing or knitting or scrapbooking or cooking.
- Maybe it's out on a date with your special someone.
- Maybe it's a
night out with some girlfriends.
Whatever your "me-time" activity is, make sure you
schedule something special for yourself routinely. Not just on Mother's Day, but
daily, weekly, monthly. Let's remind each other to care for ourselves. It's
an important task to do and our kids will learn from us that we have to care for
ourselves before we can really care for others. And why not start off Mother's Day Weekend with a celebration of birth? Come join us this Friday, May 6th at 7:00 pm, for our Birth Circle.
