Lois Freedman  | Facilitator/Counselor Lois Freedman, MEd, CCE is a therapist,
childbirth educator, perinatal consultant and author of Birth as a
Healing Experience: the Emotional Journey of Pregnancy through
Postpartum. For more than 20 years, Lois has counseled women coping
with anxiety, grief, traumatic birth experience, loss of a child,
cesarean section, mother loss, miscarriage, infertility and death of a
loved one. In addition to her private practice, Lois offers a range of
classes and workshops for expectant parents and new mothers.
Lois has a special interest and expertise in preparing women and
couples for VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean). Lois will also be
available on Thursdays for private consultations related to VBAC
preparation, counseling to pregnant women, new mothers, and many other
women who are experiencing difficult transitions, losses and anxiety.
She also teaches a VBAC Preparation Workshop at Mothers & Company.

She has a degree in early childhood development and is the mother of
13 children (ranging in age from 24 years to 16 months).

Moms Groups & NEW Breastfeeding Support Group

Remember...we have LOTS of FREE Groups!
New Moms Group on Tuesdays at 11:30 and Fridays at 1:00 pm.
Working Moms Group is Wednesdays at 6:00 pm and is FREE.
There are 2 Breastfeeding Support Groups: Mondays at 1:00 pm and Tuesdays at 10:00 am.
Have a new baby and an older child? Come to our New Momma Again Playgroup on the second Wednesday of the month at 12:30 pm.
Have twins or triplets or more? We have a special group for you...Multiple Joys and Challenges. On the second Thursday of the month at 12:30 pm.
Nursing a toddler? Come meet other moms who are interested in continuing nursing or who are nursing longer than the first year. Second Friday of the month at 1:00 pm.
No need to register, but an RSVP through our online scheduler is appreciated.

Moms Finding Balance group, a special moms group where you can share and discuss ways to take care of yourself and how to find balance between motherhood and the identity you might feel like you left behind. Come chat about
how your life has changed, how to care for yourself, compare notes with other new moms and learn
how to find balance from the super-experienced momma that leads the group. Laughter and wisdom is
guaranteed...

Daddy & Me Time: Saturday!

This coming Saturday, March 20th, at 3:00 pm we have another opportunity for dads to bring their babies and chat with other dads! And it's free!
Facilitated by Mike Morgan, a fun and chatty dad who will bring his 10-month-old daughter with him. He'll demonstrate some cool soothing techniques (and other dads can share theirs!) and everyone can talk about how fun and challenging it is to navigate fatherhood and the rest of life!
