Daddyvents* Infant/Child CPR & Safety Infant Massage for Dad & Moms Beer Tasting:  Dads Night Out We've been planning a few fun events that dads will really enjoy, so if you are a dad or know one, see below for details on these events. Dads:  Don't keep this info to yourself...please forward this email to any other dads (and) moms you know (using the "forward this message..." link at the bottom! * sound it out...it's pronounced "dad events"   Infant/Child CPR & Safety Class TUESDAY, July 7, 7:00 - 9:30 pm, $30 per person  If your baby was choking on something, would you know what to do?  What if your friend's toddler fell and wasn't breathing?  Would you know the most recent guidelines for effective CPR?  These are all scary things to think about but shouldn't everyone know how to save a life using simple methods like those you'll learn this class?  You'll also learn the basics of adult CPR and if you need to be certified for any reason, just let us know and for an additional fee and an additional test after class, you can also get your certification card.  Come to class alone, with your significant other or send your babysitter or grandma...CPR is for everyone. Infant Massage for Dads & Moms SATURDAY, July 11 at 11:00 am REGISTER NOW!  Requires a minimum number of participants, so register now...it's coming up soon! $35.00 per family, non-member  $31.50 per family, member Who doesn't enjoy a massage?  What a wonderful way to bond with your baby and help your baby sleep better, digest easier and just enjoy his or her babyhood.  We were going to have this class just for dads, but the moms were jealous, so we've expanded it to be a class for both moms and dads.  Think of it as "couples massage"...sorta.  Enjoy a date together WITH baby and learn how you can make diaper changes more fun and relaxing and so much more!  It's true!  Have twins?  Bring them both!  Class fee includes light snacks and drinks, a bottle of massage oil to take home and handouts that provide guides for baby massage moves.  Led by Debbie Page of The New Born Baby, a nurse, lactation consultant and certified infant massage instructor.  The Details On... Want an excuse to have your wives actually excited about you going and drinking great craft beer from independent breweries with other guys?  Without your wives or children? No, it's not a dream. This is as real as babies that poop.  Experience beer nirvana. We invite you to a fun filled night to talk about how the birth of your children changed your life but also how beer played a part in the birth of civilization.  Think back to freshman English:  Our Neolithic ancestors settled in fertile zones to cultivate the land and grow barley--none other than one of the major components in beer.  Coincidence?  We think not.   Join us as we learn more about how to enjoy different types of beer, correct serving temperatures, food pairing and more.  Come pay respect to one of the main reasons you had the unique ability to increase the population:  BEER!!  Delicious cheeses and other yummy foods that pair well with the beers will be provided along with an educational display and tasting of some the finest hand-crafted beers on the planet. Helpful Tip of the Week:  Babywearing Makes You Sexier Did you notice that all the dads pictured in this message are wearing their babies? Did you know that it's cool for dads to WEAR their babies in baby carriers and slings?  Moms actually find you SEXY when you wear your baby...and babies cry 40% less when they are that close to you...so c'mon, dads, come in for your newest "hands-free" device and get fitted for a sling or baby carrier.  Give mom a couple hours off and bring your baby or toddler in and we'll find a style that works for your personality, style, size and one that is both comfortable for you and your kiddo.  Okay, so we know there's snow in the picture (above) of this dad wearing his baby, but isn't it an adorable picture? Do you golf?  Come in for a club fitting, too...MoCo is located on the second floor of Cyprian Keyes Golf Club, so if you want a club fitting after your sling fitting, call 508.869.9900.  Babies and toddler don't find club fittings that interesting, though, so someone would need to pick up your kiddo before a club fitting...
