CVM
Community Voice Mail

Community Voice Mail (CVM) is a program that provides low-income families and individuals with access to telephone voicemail service to encourage job attainment and stable housing.

Inland Empire Community Voice Mail would like to welcome its newest partner, St. John of God in Victorville. They will be providing local residents with a lifeline to critical services, a constant phone number.

For more information, please contact the CVM manager at (909) 980-2857 ext. 243.

VITA
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

Once again Inland Empire United Way, through its financial stability initiative, will be partnering with Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State San Bernardino to provide free tax assistance to community residents in IEUW's service area.

This service is critical in bringing financial resources to working families and individuals. Each year, millions of dollars go unclaimed in tax credits that rightfully belong to working families. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program continues to help workers claim the tax benefits that they have rightfully earned.

This past year, the VITA program has refunded approximately $1.3 million to our community.

Almost 1,300 people filed their taxes through a VITA site, and the average Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) amount was $750.
