| Help Feed Local Homeless and Low-Income Children Each Weekend |
Kids Pack Sponsorship Opportunity
In our current economic state, so many more local children need our help, most especially during these cold winter months.
The Kids Pack program provides homeless and very low-income school children with backpacks filled with nutritious foods every weekend.
Any amount will help. For example, $150 can sponsor a child to receive a backpack of food each weekend for a year, and provides a child nourishment and a sense of belonging.
Click here to see the impact Kids Pack has on our community and to learn more about the program.
To sponsor, please contact Lorraine Ousley at (909) 980-2857 ext 203.
Thank you for supporting the Kids Pack program and our local children!

2009 KidSmart Holiday Program |
|
For the fourth year, the IEUW KidSmart staff, local donors and case management organizations teamed up to make the holidays a little brighter for local children and families.
Many families have fallen upon hardships such as illness, homelessness, losing their employment or losing a loved one. The holiday program not only matches people who want to help with those who need it, it also allows families the chance to create positive holiday memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks to our generous donors, we were able to provide holiday gifts to 24 different families and 14 individual children. Gifts included clothing, shoes, toys, games, sports equipment, Christmas trees and gift cards to purchase food and other necessities.

U.S. Bank "Adopts" 15 Families |
On December 10, U.S. Bank hosted a special holiday event at the Goldy Lewis Center in Rancho Cucamonga to collect gifts for the 15 families lovingly "adopted" by their employees.
This was the third year for this event, and we are extremely grateful for their partnership and continued support.

Holiday Toy Drives
Special holiday toy drives were conducted by:
- KOLA 99.9 FM
- Enterprise Rent-A-Car
- Best Buy
- Uline
- The Ohira-Meade Family
We were extremely fortunate to have KOLA 99.9 FM as a Holiday Program partner for the third consecutive year. On December 16, KOLA conducted a very successful "Stuff the Studio" toy drive. Toys, books, art supplies and games were collected from generous KOLA listeners!
