New Classes Announced!
We are happy to announce the November & December classes are now online.  Have a project that all is knit up but you need guidance putting it together?  Join Liz in the finishing workshop.  Would you like to learn how to cable?  Join Nancy and learn how to make reversible cables as you knit a scarf.  Allison brings her amazing needle felting skills to the table to introduce you to the world of three dimensional needle felting.  Finally, Mary will guide you through the process of making a beautiful Christmas stocking designed by Leigh Radford.
These are just a few of the highlights from our latest offering.  Registration begins 11/3 at 10 AM.  Click here to see the entire list of classes.

Reversible Rambling Cabled Scarf
 Reversible Rambling Cabled Scarf
Inspired by "Rambling", a Susan B. Anderson design for the Spud & ChloŽ collection. I love cables, but on a scarf, I prefer not to have a wrong side. You see, my scarves always flip over, so I always try to make them reversible. This is a great first project for people who want to learn how to cable, as there is not chart or wordy instructions to interpret.  Click on the picture to download the pattern.

Fall is in the air and things are changing at Renaissance Yarns!  New yarns are arriving all of the time.  Designs are starting to take on the warmer look as the days cool down.
We are also thinking of the holidays with you in mind; new books, must have accessories and quick gift ideas are on the top of our minds.  Keep watching your newsletter for these types of ideas.  Also, we are busy planning our next Evening of Artisans which will occur Friday, November 20th, from 5 - 8 PM.  You will also be able to make your wish list that evening.  You will not want to miss this opportunity to help us be your family's personal shopper!

Project Pink Scarf
Supporting the Valley Breast Center
Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Knitting is coming to a close. Our local fiber community made more than 100 scarves for the Valley Breast Center.  With proceeds from your yarn purchases and our matching program, $500 was raised for the Patient Care Fund. We will officially start the program again in August 2010. Thank you for your support in this project!
