A Spring Poem

Spring is sprung,
The grass is riz,
I wonder where the birdies is.
They say the bird is on the wing,
but how absurd,
I always heard the wing was on the bird!

PS. While I was away last month this wonderful and unexpected photograph was taken of my house and labyrinth. Luckily there had been many frequent walkers who had kept the labyrinth open with shovels and snowshoes – thank you all!

It may be spring, but the grass is not riz, and we still have snow on the ground. It really does look just like the photo. But not for long!
