The Course in Miracles Society [CIMS], publisher of A Course in Miracles ~ Original Edition [ACIM-OE] has taken to heart the many requests for TRANSLATIONS of this magnificent document into other languages. Today CIMS is happy to share with you an update on this Translation Project.

The GERMAN translation, which was the first to begin, started with the TEXT translation and created an audio rendition at the same time. It is an interactive project in which the listeners and readers provide feedback to the translators; a truly collaborative venture.

The DUTCH translation was intended to be produced parallel to the GERMAN but the chief translator, as well as other members of the group, had to postpone the project for a period of time. It has now, however, renewed its efforts with great intensity.  

The KOREAN translation of the WORKBOOK and MANUAL for TEACHERS was completed and published last year and recently the KOREAN translation of the TEXT was completed and submitted for publication. Printing of the TEXT will be begin the first part of July.

85% of the GERMAN translation is now finished, [with the DUTCH translation a little behind that]. The MANUAL for TEACHERS is finished; the WORKBOOK is finished. The TEXT is the main part that still has to be completed and perfected in both German and Dutch.   

Currently in progress are the SPANISH, RUSSIAN and KOREAN translations, with negotiations taking place and commitments given on the JAPANESE and CHINESE translations as well.

This TRANSLATION PROJECT is a dream come true for CIMS and is the realization of a desire by many people to read this material in their native language.
