How much weight have you shed so far?
I have lost a total of 37.5 pounds. The first week, I lost 10.9 pounds. I still have about 35 more pounds to lose and I am very confident that I will be able to do so.

What do you like the most about Iron90?
The best thing about Iron90 is utilizing the heart rate monitor. I LOVE it. It has helped me to work out smarter, not harder.
I am burning FAT during my workouts not just the calories that I ate that day. Thereby, I am not starving when I am done. It is also nice to see the improvement in my heart's functioning.
Initially when I started this program, I had significant difficulty keeping my heart rate low enough to be in the "fat burn" zone. I had to go so slow either walking or biking that it barely felt like exercise.
The first weekend of the program, I biked 8 miles. It took me a whopping 1 hour and 45 minutes trying to keep my heart in my prescribed zone. This week, I biked 12 miles and it took me about 1 hour 10 minutes. Most of that time, I was having to try to work harder to keep my heart rate high enough. It is a wonderful feeling knowing that I am healthy.
Also, since the birth of my first child (and gaining of about 30 extra pounds) I have struggled with borderline high blood pressure. That is not a problem anymore. My blood pressure is well within normal limits now.

What would you suggest to people who want to shed weight?
Wow! If someone had told me 6 months ago that I would be giving advice to others on weight loss, I would have told them they were CRAZY. I have struggled my whole life with weight problems. The biggest piece of advice I can give is this: if I can do it, anyone can!! Trust me.
I would certainly suggest joining the Iron90 program. It has helped me SO much in this endeavor. Just by providing me with my recommended calorie intake for the day (and per meal), plus the use of the heart rate monitor has given me the tools to be able to lose the weight and, I am sure, be able to maintain it as well. It is a simple formula of calories in VS calories out, but it helps to have it spelled out specifically for you and your circumstances.
Another thing that I would recommend is creating that accountability factor. My employer is currently having a weight loss competition (and we are all using Iron90). Having to weigh-in each week and email my weight to someone is a GREAT motivator. Work with someone you trust, a friend, co-worker, anyone that can help. Maybe even set up your own competition.
I am also surprised that I am not hungry all the time. Initially, it was hard to cut back on the amount of food I was eating. Now, I would not be able to eat nearly that much. I get full with significantly smaller amounts of food and eating 6 times a day helps greatly too. I am saving so much money on food (and not eating out as much), that it more than pays for the cost of the Iron90 program.
