Quick tips to keep YOU healthy, sane, and productive all week long.
|
Greetings!
Brrr. It's hard to get outside and exercise in this cold weather. Good news - you don't have to step outside to get a workout - and you don't have to join a gym or pay $1000 for at-home exercise equipment.
"Dr. Jo's Hotel Room Workout" is a dynamo full-body 30 minute workout that you can do in your living room. And it comes free with my $15 exercise bands (with padded handles). What a bargain! Why don't you get in the routine of fitting in your 30 minute routine during the morning or evening news?
Get yours today - see below.
Stay warm - and safe. I hope you have a happy week!

Dr. Jo's Hotel Room Workout - just 30 minutes!
There's no need for expensive gym memberships! Xertube® Deluxe exercise resistance tubes, with easy grip padded handles for extra comfort, allow you to get a full-body workout in minutes. They are made from the highest quality rubber, which includes the patented Tuff Tube™ component, increasing the life expectancy of the tube. These are same ones my local YMCA buys.
Choose from three color-coded resistance levels. Each exercise resistance tube comes with Dr. Jo's Hotel Room Workout laminated card. Dr. Jo's creative workout offers a 30-60 minute full-body (aerobic + muscle strengthening) workout that can be done in a 6' X 6' space. It was designed with an exercise physiologist.
Accusplit Pedometer - great way to increase calories burned
To increase fitness levels, it's recommended most Americans take 10,000 steps a day. That's about 4 miles. How far are you walking? Clip a pedometer onto your waist band every day to find out.
Dr. Jo offers two different Accusplit Pedometers - both are certified accurate and provide ACCUSPLIT's 5-Year, No Proof of Purchase Warranty. One measures steps only (and require no programming), the other converts those steps into mileage.

Eat In:
Make It Fast AND Healthy
I love to cook full meals from scratch, but sometimes....well, there's just no time. Take a look at the meals you prepare when you're in a rush like this. Are they healthy?Offer balanced nutrition?
Instead of reaching for a fast food burger, or a frozen pizza, try these 5 minutes (or less) ideas from your local grocery store:
- Roasted chicken from the deli, microwave-ready green beans in the fresh produce, and canned black beans.
- Frozen cooked shrimp (just run under cool water to thaw), cocktail sauce, cut-up raw veggies in the fresh produce, and multi-grain baguette.
- Roast beef tips (available in the fresh meat department - microwaves in 4 minutes), mashed potatoes (usually available right next to the beef), and sliced fresh tomatoes. Since the beef drippings are high in fat, leave it in the pan!
What are your favorite fast meals at home? Drop me a line and let me know at drjo@drjo.com. |
