Money Making Idea:
Write a Newsletter - FREE Trial |
 |
Books can take six months to a year (or more) to write. If you want instant notoriety as your topic expert, write an enewsletter!
It cost pennies per contact, helps you stay "top of mind" with people you've met (that might want to hire you someday), and can even help you write your next book... one article at a time.
With all three of my enewsletters, I use Constant Contact because it's easy and so inexpensive! Pick one of 60 templates, insert the text (and possibly some pictures), and voila! it's ready to send out to your customers.
Interested in trying it out for FREE? Send me an email now, and I'll email you back a link that gives you a FREE 2 month trial along with a $30 credit!

Greetings! ,
Well, the year is already half over. How's your business (or your job) coming along? Are you moving towards your goals - or are you stuck in a dead-end job or a business that's floundering? I can help you.
In addition to my "Boost Your Business" telecoaching series, I would like to offer more teleconferences on topics of interest to YOU.
Would you please drop me an email with your ideas? Are you a business-topic expert? I also invite you to email me with your ideas of how we can work together.
Have a productive week!

Want to Write a Book? Wait! First... |
|
Have you been thinking about writing a book? Before you get started, consider these:
- Do you have a clear vision of your intended audience? You'll need to write the book at their level, in the detail they desire, and even consider the size of book they prefer.
- What's already been written? Study your competition. How will your book be different? Better? If you don't know what's been written, search for the topic under amazon.com and the Library of Congress at loc.gov.
- What are your marketing plans? Never, ever write a book until you first consider how you will market it. A great title, book cover, and information helps, but a book won't sell unless it's marketed aggressively. How will you publicize it? Where will you sell it?
- What are your publishing plans? If you will be looking for an agent or a publisher (rather than self-publishing), don't write the whole book! They will want to provide input on the book. The agent and publisher will want to see a couple of chapters, your outlines, and detailed information from the first three bulleted ideas above.
Too many authors fall in love with the idea of being a book author without considering the marketing phase. Think before you write! |
