Money Making Idea:
Print-on-Demand
Light bulb idea
Have you ever wanted to write a book...but didn't want to go through the hassle of finding an agent or publisher...and didn't want to put up $10,000 to print a lot of self-published copies? Check out Lightning Source. This print-on-demand company is part of Ingram (the world's largest book wholesaler).

For about $100, you can download your book cover and text. Lightning Source automatically adds your book to Amazon and all the major bookstores websites (and bookstore computers). When you (or your customer) order a book, Lightning Source prints one book at a time - usually in under a week!

Granted, the books cost more to produce ($3-4 each vs $1-2 for traditional printing), but your investment is so minimal - and the quality is excellent - I can't tell the difference with my books. Check it out!

Follow the Money

Back in the 80's, Becky Dorner wanted to be in the wellness field, but with so many hospitals competing (for free), she wasn't making much money. So, she "followed the money" and got into long-term care consulting. Her business, Nutrition Consulting Services, Inc. provides permanent and temporary services for nursing homes, hospitals hospice, assisted living, and group homes - and now supports more than 25 employees!

Back in the early 90's, my goal was to become a national health & wellness speaker. While successful in the Houston area, I was having a hard time promoting myself outside the local area. That's when I decided to "follow the money" and join up with CareerTrack. For six years I conducted full-day business training seminars. Though I wasn't speaking on nutrition, I was privileged to gain hundreds of speaking engagements with large companies all over North America - and I've now built on that experience within the nutrition field.

What are your business goals? Are you trying to make money in an area or industry in which there really isn't any money to be made? Stop beating your head against the wall... "follow the money!"
