The Charter for Compassion Series begins in a little over a week on June 6, 2010.  This three-week series will discuss and reflect on the Charter for Compassion and is open to everyone.

Inspired by Karen Armstrong, the Charter for Compassion summons all people to compassionate actions as the indispensable ingredient for a peaceful global community.

Join us on Sundays as several amazing musicians celebrate The Charter and its message through the artistry of readings, music and dance.  The Wednesday dialogue will feature speakers from various spiritual walks of life.

Click here for complete details on the series and the upcoming Feast Day of St. Mary Magdalene to be held on Sunday, July 25, 2010.  You may register now online for the Feast Day of St. Mary Magdalene.

Blessings to all.

Brigid's Place is a 501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Non-Profit Organization that supports the spiritual development of women. We offer classes, lectures, discussion groups, weekend workshops and retreats where people can ask questions relating to their spiritual journeys, address their doubts, and become empowered to meet the challenges of life.  We are named after St. Brigid, a fifth century Irish Celtic Saint who founded a monastery of nuns and monks based on the social concept of equality of men and women.  They were known for their wisdom, compassion, hospitality, and healing.
