The Do's and Don'ts of printing BIG...

Posters are simply large scale displays of advertising messages. They are single minded and high impact, generating awareness and building understanding of your
brand through the message you choose.
Do's:
- Keep the message simple and single-minded. No-one will stop and read lots of text.
- Use striking visuals and large fonts to capture the reader's interest.
- Think about the location of your poster and the frame of mind of the reader.
How can you use this to your advantage?
Don'ts:
- Don't overcrowd the poster.
- Don't use small fonts. If in doubt test the size of font by standing where your customer will be and see if you can
read it yourself.
- Don't forget the call to action - what is it that you want the reader to do? Make the action you want the customer to
take, very clear and large.

Banners fulfill much the same function as a poster, offering a different format for your message through their size and unusual shape. This can add significant impact to your message.
Do's:
- Keep the message clear and simple in large type.
- Use different sizes of banners to complement each other.
Don'ts:
- Don't forget to be creative. Banners can be used to pass on more than just a brand or company name.
