Real Estate eNews & Updates

August 2010

Greetings!
As you may know, I spend a lot of time and energy investing in my real estate business. I have an assistant on payroll and a couple of great agents who assist my buyers. I also spend a lot of time researching online tools, reading business books and attend countless seminars, conferences, business meetings, and networking events. I want to constantly improve in order to be of better service to my clients and referral sources.

Books

So, last week I spent 3 days at a seminar in Anaheim with a different coaching company than the one I have been involved with for the past 9 years (Buffini & Company). Buffini & Company is certainly the best one for me, but I wanted to attend the other for "market research" to see what other agents are up to. Not that I'd be interested in changing groups, but I did pick up some helpful nuggets that I can combine with my current efforts (my motto is: "if you don't go, you'll never know!"). I also now know the difference between the two groups so I can better fine-tune my service to increase market share.

Put it this way; if I were having surgery, I would look for a surgeon who was up to date on the latest technology and trends in his field. The doctor I choose would be on the cutting edge of his/her field, analyzing and comparing what works best to help their patients, as opposed to the doctor who settles with what he/she learned in medical school and now gets by on minimum education requirements to renew his/her license.

Doctor

While real estate is not surgery, the worry, pain & suffering from a bad escrow can feel like a nightmare! You hire a professional real estate agent to let you know what to expect during escrow, spell out your options, and inform you what is normal and not normal during the process.

I've got my head down working for you whether you're closing escrow, finding a house, or selling a house. I'm updating my Five-Year Business Plan, and adjusting the rest of 2010's plan. I'm building my systems and team to assist you and your referrals for many years to come.

We would love to be your real estate team of choice if you need to sell or buy in the LA/South Bay. If you or someone you know needs our services, or if you have questions about the market in your neighborhood, just give us a call at 310-265-4222.
