The days are getting longer, and I think we are all feeling a bit of spring in the air!
 
If you haven't yet received your hard-copy Business Directory, I'll be distributing them in my March monthly mailer. There have already been several changes, which are always posted at my Online Business Directory. If you would like to know what those changes are, I'll be updating changes quarterly and posting them on my website. I will also feature the changes in my eNewsletters under the Quick Links tab called Business Directory Updates. If you're a business and you have a change of information, just let me know and we'll get you updated.

Last month, I wrote that first-time home buyers who close escrow between April 9, 2008 and June 30, 2009, may qualify for a Homebuyer Tax Credit, and that it would be repayable over 15 years. However, with the new Stimulus Package signed by President Obama, there is even better news: that credit is now $8,000 in effect for closings in 2009, and does not have to be repaid. Investors! Are You Looking for REO Property?
I often attend seminars and training to keep stay updated on the latest, most recent trends in real estate so that I may be of more value to you.
 
I recently attended an REO Seminar, and learned about a fantastic program call HomePath(TM). Just visit the HomePath website to view FannieMae-Owned Homes anywhere USA, and offers special financing. It almost sounds too good to be true, but it's legitimate because it is inventory owned by FannieMae (they want to move it!). Here are just a few sample program benefits:
  • no appraisal
  • no mortgage insurance
  • 10% down
  • eligible to receive up to 6% credit for closing costs from the seller (Fannie Mae)

If you would like to get preapproved for a loan for one of these properties, you must go through a HomePath lender. I recommend Darryl Stolz at Prospect Mortgage at 310-720-2159. He is excellent.
