Client "Meet n Greet" Party a Success!
|
|
I recently hosted a Meet 'n Greet party for some
great clients and their neighbors. About 30
adults and 30 children filled the house with laughter
and chatter. Food, drink, and goodie bags were
provided. Take a peek at the 60-second online photo
show now posted at ManhattanBeachNeighbors.com
(follow the photos links).
Just another way
I provide value to my database "above and beyond
real estate!"
What will it be next time?

Featured Business: Eric Snyder with The Mitchell Group of First Capital Mortgage
|
|
I have a small handful of lenders that I
recommend for loans because I am particular about
the kind of lender I work with during a real estate
transaction. We need someone responsive, available,
and willing to go the extra mile when problems arise.
Eric Snyder of First Capital Mortgage does what it
takes to get the job done, and provides service
above and beyond the call of duty.
In
September's Item of Value in the
mail, I have included some information about Eric and
the team he works with. Please visit The Mitchell
Group website at
www.candoloan.com and give
Eric a call at 310-308-2954 with your property
financing questions for investment, residential, or
refinancing.

Melinda's View on the Local Real Estate Market
|
|
You will hear many agents and media
saying that
fall/winter is a slow time of year for real estate sales.
However, it is typically my busiest time and I love
working with motivated clients! I encourage any
would-be buyers and sellers to make it happen during
this time especially this year.
Here are a few good reasons:
- Motivated sellers will keep their property listed
during the winter months. Those listed for 100+ days
may consider taking less than asking price to move
the property. Sellers: only list if you are motivated
to sell at a competitive market price...it is not a good
time to "test" the market! Price it right ("right"
meaning within fair market value of similar recently
CLOSED properties in your neighborhood) and it will
sell.
- Serious buyers are looking for bargains from
motivated sellers.
- Professional real estate agents are out there
working hard in their business to get the job
done.
- Interest rates remain historically low. Since I
have been in the business 5 years, I have not seen
interest rates at 18% or more, as some of my
colleagues who have been in the business for 20
years. It is still a great time with rates under 8%!
All of these factors together create an ideal time for
investing in real estate. It appears that "prices are
coming down"; they are coming down to a normal
rate as opposed to the last few years on the rise.
Real estate prices overall continue to rise although
they may take a dip from time to time.
If
you
would like to see a 5-year trend in your
neighborhood, let me
know.
