Street Fest

Get Connected with Palatine Residents at Street Fest

It is that time of year again for the Village of Palatine to host their "Street Fest" on August 24-26 in downtown Palatine. The Chamber is looking for members interested in marketing their businesses at our booth at this year's Village of Palatine Street Fest on Saturday, August 25-Sunday, August 26. We have split up the days into two-hour shifts. We highly recommend participating because Street Fest provides an excellent opportunity to meet and network with hundreds of Palatine residents. During your volunteer shift, you will be permitted to display your business or company information at the Chamber's booth and in return you also agree to help run a table size game. Anyone interested in signing up for a shift should call the chamber office at (847) 359-7200.

YeaNominate a Young Entrepreneur Today!

The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce and Township High School District 211 are bringing YEA to our area High Schools and we need your help nominating additional students. Only 10 spaces remain! The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) is an intensive nine-month program that teaches high school students how to start and run their own REAL businesses. Students will brainstorm a business idea, write a business plan, pitch to potential investors, obtain funding, and actually launch their own business or social enterprise! From October through May class meets each Wednesday evening from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. on the Palatine High School Campus. As business leaders, we encourage you to nominate creative, motivated students who pursue their goals with tenacity. Nominated students should have a strong work ethic and should demonstrate high levels of effort on a consistent basis. Please nominate students who have an interest in business and/or starting their own company or social movement. Call Mindy Phillips at (847) 359-7200 or email her.
