 Coupon Craze at the
St. Patrick's Day Parade
The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce is having another Coupon Craze that will give our members an opportunity to promote their business to consumers in Palatine. All you need to do is R.S.V.P. to the Chamber and drop off 350 copies of any coupon to the chamber office by Monday, March 5, 2012 and we will include your coupon in a goody bag that will be passed out to residents along the parade route at the St. Patrick's Day Parade taking place on Saturday, March 17th in Palatine. This is a great way to promote your business to the community! We are also looking for members who would like to walk with us and help pass out the bags to residents along the parade route. Call the Chamber office if you are interested!

Hosting a Networking @ Nite event allows our members to network their business in a casual setting. The host business opens their business to members and provides food and drink to those who attend. Introducing the...Home Service Pros
Are you a service contractor in the Palatine Chamber looking to Network and build partners in your industry? Then consider joining the Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce's newest group, Home Service Pros at our next meeting on Wednesday, January 18th at 8:00 a.m. in the Chamber office. The Home Service Pros networking group is made up of contractors who are dedicated to producing an outstanding service experience for their customers. Our goal is to establish ourselves as the go-to-group for in-home services in Palatine and the Northwest suburbs. To help promote the group, we will use Advertising, Networking Events, Volunteer Opportunities, Chamber Events and Group Referrals. The members of this group are contractors who work on various aspects of the home: Carpentry, Electrical, Low Voltage, Plumbing, HVAC, Painting, Tree Care, Landscaping, Roofing, etc...Members are also expected to adhere to a code of ethics. The Rotary Club of Palatine is currently accepting applications from organizations for possible donations from the club. Organizations applying for funding support from the Rotary Club of Palatine must be tax exempt under Section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Organizations interested in receiving a charitable allocation should submit their application no later than January 14, 2012. The 2nd Annual 'Paint the Town Green' event will be held in Palatine on Saturday, March 17. The highlight of the day will consist of a parade at 11:00 AM in downtown Palatine, an Irish Market from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM, and numerous other activities throughout the Village. Applications for entry in the parade are being accepted through January 31. Notification of acceptance into the parade will be sent by February 20. The parade begins at the corner of Wood and Oak Streets in downtown Palatine and continues west to Brockway and south to Wilson.
