PHD will host "Girls On The Town", during which Downtown Palatine businesses will offer demonstrations, special offers, music, complimentary food and beverages, trend setting fashions, and trend-setting home décor ideas for women. Pick up your passport at any of the nine participating locations on April 23rd, 4:30-8:00, and April 24th, 10:00-5:00. A $1.00 passport donation will be given to PHD's Baby Closet for baby food and formula.

The Small Business Development Center at Harper College will host Entrepreneur's Quest 2010 on Saturday, April 24. This one-day conference designed for small businesses will be held from 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. in the Wojcik Conference Center on our Palatine campus.

PHD is pleased to announce a special partnership between PHD Resale Boutique and Midwest Moving and Storage LLC! This partnership encourages customers and potential customers of PHD Resale Boutique to donate their gently used furniture to the store. Midwest Moving will pick up donations completely free of charge for customers within a 10-mile radius of the store. People living outside this geographic area are still encouraged to donate however there may be a small charge. The American Legion Auxiliary will host Greekfest 2010 on Friday, April 9th starting at 5:00 PM at the American Legion Hall located at 122 West Palatine Road in Palatine. Greekfest is open to the public and raises funds for the Legion Auxiliary Programs. Tickets are $10.00 in advance or available at the door for $12. Tickets provide access to the hall and dinner. The Auxiliary will be hosting a raffle and providing traditional Greek music during the event.
