The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce and Biz 6 Plus will be hosting a Progressive Networking Luncheon on Thursday, October 15 at Bristol Court (828 E. Rand Rd., Mt. Prospect). Cost is $25 for Chamber members and $50 for non-members. Opportunities are also available for Networking and Event Sponsors. Reservations must be made by October 8th. Be prepared to talk about your business and bring lots of business cards.

The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a community art exhibit. Walk the streets of Palatine and visit all the Park benches on display throughout the community. The benches were sponsored by chamber businesses and decorated by local artists. Join us for a "Picnic Dinner" on November 12, at The Cotillion Banquets as we auction all the benches. A portion of the proceeds of each bench will be donated to a charity of the sponsor's choice.

The Palatine Chamber will be hosting our "Key to Success" Awards and Installation Dinner on January 21, 2010 at The Cotillion Banquets. We are very excited about this new awards dinner as we will be recognizing many of our Chamber businesses for their contribution to the Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce as well as the community.

At Refresh School of Therapeutic Massage (RSTM), our goal is to provide quality instruction at a reasonable cost. RSTM provides an environment for students to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to become great massage therapists in today's competitive job market.    We are currently taking applications for part-time and full-time classes.   We also offer referral rewards to anyone who refers a student that goes on to complete our program. Countryside Association  for People with Disabilities will host the fifth annual "Recipe for Success"from 5:30 to 8:30 PM, October 26 at The Meadows Club, 2950 W. Golf Rd., Rolling Meadows "Recipe for Success" is a culinary extravaganza where more than twenty-five area restaurants will offer appetizer-sized dishes and will feature a live jazz quartet, silent auction and raffle. The Bridge Youth & Family Services will host the Bridge the Gap Walk - 2.5 mile neighborhood walk Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 9:00 am (Registration opens at 8:30) The event will take place at The Bridge Youth & Family Services (corner of Illinois and Quentin in Palatine) $20 for adults, discounts for children and teenagers.  Raising $50 above the registration fee earns a t-shirt! Attorneys of Lavelle Law team up to take on the Palatine Police & Fire Departments (The Protectors vs. The Professionals) in Palatine's first annual Palatine Bowl  on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. OST Football Field.
