  • Greetings!

May has been a VERY busy month for us and we're still working on a couple of projects before the end of school hits. Below you will see some of the advancements we've made and hopefully appreciate the - ahem - somewhat delayed newsletter .

Until next time, we hope you have a safe Memorial Day weekend and enjoyable time with friends and loved-ones.

    Golf Tournament

Absolutely wonderful news! Local realtors Kevin and Jill Lynch of Coldwell Banker have taken our foundation under their wing for their annual golf tournament! Because both of our groups are smaller in numbers than the required 100+ players, we decided to collaborate for a fantastic time on the green and join efforts in promoting. Hence we have moved the golf tournament to September 17th, 2005. It will still be held at the Tumwater Valley Municipal Golf Course, now with tee-off at 1:00 PM. More details to follow! Interested in playing? Why wait - register now to secure your spot!

We are very thankful for our sponsors and their interest in our cause!

    Buy Online?

We are pleased to introduce a new, simple means by which you can support our mission: The WHF Giveline Fundraising Store, where you can now purchase all of your books, CD's, DVD's, video games, and computer software.

Our store provides a world-class shopping experience similar to the most trafficked online retailers, a secure transaction environment, very competitive prices, and a constantly expanding catalogue of the most talked about titles. And, most importantly, when you purchase your products from our store, Wyatt Holliday Foundation makes the profit and raises essential capital to advance our efforts. As an active consumer, you'll be buying books, music, movies, games, and software throughout the year - now you can buy those products from us, redirecting funds away from for-profits retailers and into the hands of our charitable organization.

You can enter our store through the Giveline Fundraising Store link on our homepage (www.wyattshouse.org) or by going directly to the store at the following URL:

    http:// www.giveline.com/wyattshouse

Please bookmark our store in your browser Favorites and return for all of your book, music, movie, gaming, and software needs. Our store also offers the perfect gift solution, so please remember you have this innovate alternative when it comes to your retailing habits.

Olympia Parents of Special Needs Kids MeetUp

Great news for our group! A parent group in Olympia called "There's Hope" is joining our group and not only offering our parents an evening option but also offering our opportunities to their members by joining us. With a slightly different structure, "There's Hope" has round-table discussions on every second Thursday of the month with some individual events, while our group alters between events, speakers and networking. The group is lead by Ann Varpness, Parent Advocate, who is now our group's Assistant Organizer. She will handle coordination of the Thursday evening group through our site. To find out more please contact her at ann@varpness.com. Welcome Ann!
