Jim Olson Motors Expansion
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The City of Sturgeon Bay recently approved a $400,000 revolving loan to the James Olson Automotive Group to support their ongoing expansion and growth. In addition to significant upgrades on their existing Jim Olson Motors Chevrolet/Buick/Cadillac franchise, the company is establishing a new Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram Truck dealership at 812 Green Bay Road, near the intersection of Highway 42/57 and Duluth Street. The new project will create 26 new jobs in the County. This comes on the heels of 2011's new Jim Olson Express service facility on Egg Harbor Road. In both cases, Olson was able to utilize existing buildings that had been empty in two of Sturgeon Bay's primary business corridors.
Sunset Hills #2 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We're thrilled to report that both of the model homes built last year at the Sunset Hills #2 subdivision (the former WireTech Fabrications site) have been sold! We are pleased that the buyers for both homes are active members of the local workforce, which is one of the goals of the project. DCEDC and the City will be working with our developers to get at least two new model homes built this year. Contact Cindy Koutnik at Action Realty for more information. |
