What a Great Spring Fair!!

We snuck in the fair before the rain and it was a HUGE SUCCESS with a record attendance.  The PTO would especially like to thank Jennifer & Brendan Arnott for stepping up to chair the fair this year.   They overcame a big learning curve to throw a fabulous Spring Fair and we are so grateful!!  Of course they didn't do it alone and once again we had a dedicated group of new and returning chairpersons who pulled off the event without a hitch.  Please take the time to read the attached PDF  from Jennifer and Brendan about all of the amazing people that made this event another one to remember!  THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

Cast Your Vote For A PTO Gifts To School Purchase

Each year the PTO purchases items for the school from funds raised throughout the year.   Mrs. Wills and the faculty provide a list of the most needed items.  Attached is a ballot explaining the proposed purchases for this year.  Cast your vote and return it to the school office by May 15th.  If the majority of ballots are in favor of the purchases, then the PTO will approve them at the board meeting on May 16th.  Questions can be directed to Raquel Hunter at rioshunter@yahoo.com.

SKOOOT - Squirrels Keep Out Of Our Trash

The deadline for donations is May 15th!
We need your help on a student service project to clean up the playground. Fourth grade student Joey Ibarra has taken the initiative to start a fund raising effort to clean up the trash on our school playground. He is collecting donations to go towards metal trash cans with lids to reduce the litter and keep squirrels out of the trash. He is hoping to raise money to buy 8 commercial grade metal trash cans, and an outside organization has agreed to match funds up to the first $1,000 in donations! See the attached link for information on how to donate.
