T/E School District Budget/Did You Know?
The T/E School District has cut costs by nearly $10 million over the past two years by implementing over 80 budget "strategies", such as eliminating or reducing educational programs and services, cutting 69 staff positions, eliminating raises, and reducing other costs while increasing operating efficiencies. And we're still facing a $6.2 million deficit for 2012-2013! Tough decisions will need to be made in the coming months. Stay informed by attending school board committee meetings or by checking out www.tesd.net for updates.
