We Need You on the Short Line This Saturday!

Volunteers are needed this Saturday to clean trail, chip wood, stack firewood, prep a garden and more!  Service Learning Hours are available.

Calling All Volunteers!

Help us out this Saturday, October 13, 2012 as we continue to clear the Short Line Trail.  Cockey's Enterprise has donated a dumpster and ABC Equipment Rental has given us a great deal on a chipper.   Volunteers should meet at the corner of Maiden Choice Lane at Garden Ridge Rd. beginning at 9 a.m.  Make this the day you get involved!

We promise you a meaningful volunteer experience!  You can see your progress!   Make this activity your Saturday workout  and you will go home feeling you have accomplished so much for your community.

So many people have told us they want to volunteer.  Commit to coming this Saturday.  Bring tools like rakes, clippers and picks with your name on it.

Send me an e-mail at sweeneysmith@comcast.net if you can help us

  • The Western Baltimore County Pedestrian and Bicycle Access Plan Public Hearing will be held Monday, October 15, 2012 immediately after the Council meeting which begins at 6 p.m. The hearing will be held on the second floor of the Court house in Towson. It would be great to have a large crowd from Catonsville there!  If adopted by the County Council, the Western Bike Plan will become an amendment to the County master plan. Expressions of support for the plan will aid in the plan's adoption and future implementation. Please attend the public hearing to voice your opinion.
