All exposed ferrous and galvanized base pans and rails are protected with RustGrip. RustGrip is a one part polyurethane, which has been used in the industrial oilfield and maritime marketplace for over 15 years and has had excellent performance in the offshore oil and gas industry to prevent ferrous metal corrosion in some of the harshest environments in the world.
All coils, exposed copper and exterior painted cabinet surfaces are protected with MicroGuard, a three-part siloxane. MicroGuard is 50% harder than industrial grade epoxy, had over 70,000 hours of field testing and multiple third party testing in the laboratory and field, validating that it enhances energy and heat transfer through HVAC coils. MicroGuard is an inorganic coating and will not support the growth of mold, which enhances indoor air quality.
