The US Air Force participated in a Renewable Energy Symposium in late June of 2011 in Tucson, Arizona. The findings continue to support the integrity
of the product Super Therm. The purpose was to reduce reliance on fossil fuels by a using renewable energy source.
Super Therm was applied to the exterior of a metal building on the US Air Force base that didn't contain any traditional insulation or drop ceilings. For three days, all air conditioning was turned off to accurately determine the effectiveness of SuperTherm in blocking the heat load onto the metal skin of the building. With temperatures ranging from 111 degrees to 113 degrees F, the temperature inside the metal building was 85 degrees. This temperature was then compared to the uncoated buildings of which were over 70 degrees higher. The next observation was to have a group of people walk around the interior of the building that was coated with Super Therm. With nearly 60 people touring the building, the temperature registe red an amazing 85 degrees.
This is just one of the many products that Energy Performance Solutions has available as a renewable energy resource. Please check out our website, email us or call our office. Sincerely, Russell McNeice President russell@energyps.com office 713-931-2735 |
