Giraffe, Kathleen Chamberlin
|
Kathleen Chamberlin
Kathleen reaches in and brings out her more playful side in her new series entitled "Menagerie". Her colorful acrylic paintings entice us into Kathleen's whimsical yet contemplative world. To her, the strong compositions and quirky subjects provide moments of escapism. A place where design, details and color are pure joy, but not empty or lighthearted. Kathleen feels that joy is not perfect, nor can it be sought after. She believes true joy is the gift of just letting oneself experience the joy.
Kathleen feels this menagerie of paintings has brought to her a new energy and willingness to deserve and accept joy into her art and her life.

Nathan Johnson
Nathan began fabricating stainless steel in 1978, welding medical equipment. In the late 1980's he worked with industrial stainless. In 1997 Nathan became an Aero Space certified fabricator, building type A and experimental high performance acrobatic aircraft.
He dabbled with stainless art, but it was not until 2010 that Nathan began work on these polished sculptures. Every piece is 100% recycled stainless steel so there is no plating to rust or peel over time.
Built to last multiple life times each piece can be disassembled for repair if they should ever become damaged. Nathan destroys each pattern to assure all his sculptures are truly one of a kind.

Bright Sunrise, Gayle Pedemonte
|
Gayle Pedemonte
Gayle has lived in Gaston, Oregon for 30 years. She paints landscapes in oils from photos she has taken, some close to home, some when traveling. Some of the scenes are places you pass by frequently. You may not notice them until the season, light and mood make them into a beautiful, but often fleeting scene. She tries to capture the feeling, the light and the essence of nature on the canvas. Gayle has taken a variety of classes and workshops, but is mostly self taught. During the summer her creative expression can be seen in her garden.
