Greetings!

It's Fall!  Can you believe it?  What a wonderful season; crisp air, harvest moon......and daylight savings time that falls back!  But that isn't until November 6.

It was difficult to choose a winner for the Name That Toy contest, there were so many good entries!  We are happy to announce that the winner of the Name That Toy contest is Cindy Ryder with the name Turbo Tubes. Congratulations, Cindy!

We would like to keep the other entries for future use and as we use them that person will receive 2 free toys and 20% off an order with free shipping!

It seems odd not to have a new design to announce but we will probably have at least one new toy design next month.  If you have a toy idea or would like to see a certain object used in a toy, let us know.  If your idea leads to a new toy design, you will be duly rewarded!!

Sincerely,

Lisa McManus

Q&A With a Wise Old Bird

ask gandalf

Well, this is going to be REALLY brief because only one brave bird/person sent in a question;

Dear Gandalf -

I need to know when mating season ends? Quick!

 From Frustrated

Dear Frustrated:

Ends? What do you mean?  It never ends for me......just bring a cute little macaw girl near and see what happens.

I know humans have some silly dates that they label as breeding/mating season but its hog wash.  It's always that time as far as I'm concerned.

I'm really disappointed that the questions aren't coming in by the dozens. I have so much wisdom to impart so send those cards and letters to wiseoldbird@yahoo.com and let me amaze you.

Aaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh which in bird talk means Aaaarrrrgggghhhhh.

"Crescent didn't put his toy down for more than an hour!"

Crescent lives with Audrey in Salt Lake City and recently received a Chewy Brush.  This cockatoo was more than thrilled!  Audrey reported that Crescent did not put down his new Chewy Brush for over an hour!  And it was still intact!

The Chewy Brush is made from an infant's safety toothbrush with rings, charms and pacifiers added to become an especially fun foot toy.  Birds love the bristles of the brush and the design is easy for them to hold onto.  It comes in red, blue, yellow, green, purple and fuchsia.  Approximately 4" in length,.

The Chewy Brush is a very durable toy that is tons of fun!  What are you waiting for, order one today!
