... of Facebook and Twitter, blogging and YouTube
Whatever your thoughts about social media and the 'blogosphere', it's evident that user-published content on websites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube is attracting a huge audience, and being widely reported and consulted by other media around the world. These social media feeds are increasingly attracting an external following and we want to make them lively and interesting. Please start posting your own activities and reflections to any of them. And, where you find something interesting, it's particularly helpful if you 'Share' or 'Re-Tweet' so that the best posts are spread throughout your own networks to other like-thinking people. This is great for our profile. Mab Jones is our part-time social media editor. Deirdre-Maria Brannigan, our profile coordinator, is keen to publish a regular 'Ministers Blog' with simple accounts of the work of interfaith ministers. So if you're a scribbler and like to jot 200-500 words about any aspect of your spiritual path, your ministry, your activities, or your thoughts, please send them in. We'll publish to the website, with full credit to you, and distribute through our social media to a far wider audience. Similarly, if you have any short video clips that we can use, we'll publish them to the One Spirit YouTube feed coming shortly.
