Convocation update
Plans are well advanced for Convocation 2012 hosted in London this year by Rev John Merrill and Rev Anja Saunders. The programme for Saturday 9 June focuses on the theme of Connectedness. The morning holds space for dropping deeper into the connecting space through meditation, movement, song, prayer and networking, as well as an inspirational talk. The afternoon includes an OSIF update and the renewing of our vows, connecting with chi and a final open space. You are encouraged to wear your ceremonial clothes andbring your stole. One Sunday 10 June, there will be a pilgrimage 'Walk with God' starting from Gospel Oak at 10.30, and passing all faiths including more than 15 places of worship and temples. There will be two periods of silent walking around Primrose Hill in the morning and in Regents Park in the afternoon. Lunch will be near the cafe in Regents Park at 12.30 for a Mother Earth Service and picnic. The last church is Our Lady of Assumption (one of seven Our Lady's in London), reaching Piccadilly Circus around 4.30, with a further option to continue to Green Park. Families, partners, children and friends are invited to join the walk on Sunday - no cost, just a donation please. We hope you can come for these two days in 2012 Olympic City, reconnecting with ourselves and with the Divine.
