Quero Apache Prayer

Looking behind I am filled with gratitude.
Looking forward I am filled with vision.
Looking upwards I am filled with strength.
Looking within I discover peace.

Issue 153 : 10 March 2012

Greetings!

There is a buzz of excitment within the staff team this week as we not only welcome our new staff members to the team, but also prepare for our first introductory day of the year.

The introductory day will be held in London on Saturday 10 March and we have guests attending from all around the UK and some flying in from Scandinavia for the day.  Please hold us in your prayers and reflections as we make them welcome and introduce them to our amazing and vibrant community.

And please join us in offering a warm welcome to Deirdre (who will say more below), Mab and Peter who joined the staff team on 1 March.

With blessings to you from Lindsay, and on behalf of all the staff team

New Additions to Staff Team

Deidrie Brannigan 2012
I am both excited and humbled to be working with One Spirit Interfaith Foundation in the new role of Profiling Co-ordinator.

I consider it a great honour to be part of the process in bringing the Foundation into greater public consciousness.  It cannot be over-estimated the amount of work it has taken to bring all the components to readiness for this next stage of development, from the excellence of the Seminary training and the continued strengthening of the community, to the vision of the Trustees collectively supported by the infrastructure and administration. The Foundation's energy now includes a focus on growing our ability to serve, by raising and developing our profile, enabling greater access to those who can and want to see us.

Together with the other new members of the team, Mab Jones - the social media editor and journalist Peter Chaplin, we aim to keep you informed about our progress in growing both the work of the seminary and our community of ministers. This profiling initiative encompasses a whole foundation approach and as such I look forward to developing
strong links with both the Minister and Student communities.

Please feel free to contact me deirdre.brannigan@osif.org.uk
