I am a Bleep
I know my life is short
In theory, I can be a bleep of a collective,
continuing to move and make corrections,
to heal those wrong doings,
created by our ancestors.
I know, I am a bleep of this collective,
I have the ability to make this theory real,
I am taking responsibility,
to feel, to think, to say, to do, to act,
to live TODAY, not yesterday,
it is OK.
Contractions and expansions come in pairs,
just like Oneness.
The healing will continue
long after I am gone,
I am a bleep in this collective
It's worth it. | |

iConnect Issue 149 : 11 February 2012 |
|
Greetings!
Despite the bitterly cold weather, I can see signs of spring outside my window. As always, at this time of year, our thoughts turn toward student enrolment as the Seminary, responding to the spring, awakens to another year and opens its heart, and doors, to those who are seeking to be with us in the autumn to commence our training programme.
In this issue of iConnect, you are invited to bring inter-faith and inter-spiritual ministry to wider public notice, by once again being our messenger.
With blessings to you from Lindsay, and on behalf of all the staff team

Community Outreach

You always have been, and always will be, our very best means of sharing the existence of the Seminary training. Thank you! You are the most potent means of bringing our work to the awareness of others who may be inspired to consider the training. To be explicit, you are our marketing team in the world, and we truly need your support and to take the actions that will draw applicants towards us.
Our schedule of introductory days for the year is now complete, and this year, for the first time, we are also introducing a series of conference calls into our schedule, where those interested in our training, who can't make it to an introductory day, can dial in and speak to a member of the faculty team.
We invite you to reflect on how you can contribute to this wider work and ask you to once again be our messenger; please send the link to our website (www.interfaithfoundation.org) and our introductory day schedule to those you know who may be interested in the training.
If you would like a supply of our flyers to distribute in your area, let Lindsay know.
With deep thanks for all that you are.

Introductory Events 2012: We know that within our vibrant community we have many talented musicians, if would like to bring music to the introductory days (London, Warwick, Manchester and Taunton) please let Lindsay know. We are also looking to build a team of volunteers to support, help set up and greet prospective students at introductory events, if you would like to be part of this volunteer team, again, let Lindsay know.
Community Facilitator Post: Just a reminder that the closing date for initial expressions of interest for this vacancy is 1 March 2012.
New prayer requests have been posted. Log-in required to maintain confidentiality.
Convocation 2012: Bookings for Convocation 2012 are good and steady, and to dispel recent rumours of a change of venue, we confirm that the venue hasn't changed and Convocation will indeed be held at Friends House, Euston Road, London.
Lectern: We are looking for a good home for the Perspex lectern that we use at our ordination ceremonies as we no longer use it; it is in excellent condition and if you know of anyone, or an organisation that might like it, then we would be happy to gift it, or of course a small donation to our bursary fund would be welcome! The lectern is currently in London and you would need to collect it.
