What are you doing at New Year?
Perhaps you're planning an early night for the same reason my parents once explained - 'it will still be next year at breakfast' - but if you want some entertainment, then read on.
Our second year students are organising a New Year's Eve charity fundraising event in Brighton complete with quiz, cabaret, comedy, soup, food and dancing to Kate's Kitchen Band, plus a silent auction (to which your offers of items to auction are welcome). Tickets are limited, so please book as soon as possible - and bring your friends.

What else is new? There is an on-going programme of evolution on the website. The area on 'Services' has morphed into How We Serve, and - thanks to contributions from several ministers - we've created a new page about Healing, and updated the pages on Weddings, Funerals and Gay and Lesbian Ministers. The area intended for our own Ministers is being reorganised. In the pipeline are improvements to make the Events area easier to use, plus changes to the navigation and home page that are designed to make it more intuitive for users to find what they're looking for.
This week's video clip recommendation comes from Rev Rob MacLachlan and is all about murmuration - and, yes, if you too need to look up what the word means, just watch the clip!
Finally, there is a call for anyone interested in singing to join and support Rev Razia Aziz (- remember Razia's music from this year's ordination? -) at the Gifts of Life Celebration in London on 9 December. |
