Reflection: I am not I

I am not I.

I am this one walking beside me whom I do not see,

whom at times I manage to visit, and whom at other times I forget; the one who remains silent while I talk,

the one who forgives, sweet, when I hate, the one who takes a walk when I am indoors, the one who will remain standing when I die.

Raising the profile of Interfaith Ministry across the country - a major new initiative
 buddha

We are delighted today to be launching a major new initiative across One Spirit Interfaith Foundation to raise significantly the national profile of interfaith ministry throughout the UK and Ireland over the next 1-2 years.

The programme has been over a year in development. It began with a review of our approach to marketing and publicity, and has culminated in a proposal to invest significant funds into a range of profile-raising projects, coordinated by a new staff appointment.

Raising our profile will:

  1. Enable more people to know about our approach to ministry;
  2. Generate more enquiries for ministers on the Public Register; and
  3. Lead to potentially more students enrolling in the seminary.

The Profiling Programme will roll-out over the next year or more with a series of specific projects. Some short-term, interim projects are being launched today, with more to follow once the Profiling Coordinator has been appointed.

recruitment process begins today to invite applications from suitably experienced and qualified people, from outside our organisation as well as from within our community, to fill the various roles of:

  • Profiling Coordinator,
  • Course Writers,
  • Social Media Editor,
  • Journalists/Media Team, and
  • Website User Panel.

Please see the Vacancies page for full details of all these posts and roles, and how to apply.
