When we love for ourselves....
Lavendar and stone NC

"When we have love for ourselves we become aware that life is wonderful without the accumulation of wealth, property, possessions or status. We do not have to be miserable or feel "not good enough" when our neighbour has something we do not, because we have self worth and a love of life, just as it is.
Love yourself just the way you are. By experiencing this we can be wonderful human beings and make a valuable contribution to the lives of others by continually undertaking acts of kindness."

iConnect
Issue 132 : 18 September 2011
Greetings!

Welcome to this edition of iConnect under our expanded name of One Spirit Interfaith Foundation!

We invite you, as part of your personal meditation practice, to invest this name with your spiritual energy and prayer, and help ground it into our physical awareness. The expansion in name arises from the Visioning Process that began ten months ago and there are other significant developments arising from this process to come in the following months.

Many of you have been in contact to say how well this new name resonates with you, and we thank you for your love and support at this time of transformation.

Blessings from Nicola, Lindsay, Danielle and Tim

Host teams are now in place for our Convocation gatherings in each of the next two years.

London in 2012: we will gather in London on 9/10 June and the host team is being convened by Rev John Merrill. On the Saturday, we will gather at Friends House on Euston Road in central London, directly opposite Euston station - an easy venue to reach. On the Sunday, there will be a new element to the programme with the host team exploring a sacred pilgrimage walk.

Dorset in 2013: we will gather again in Dorset on 17-19 May and the host team will be convened by Revs Charles Kemp and Sue Minns. This event too will introduce some new features. The gathering will take the form of an exclusive and fully residential retreat for ministers in the beautiful setting of Gaunts House. The cost will be fully inclusive of all accommodation, and camping options will be available.

Make a note of both dates now!
