Design doodles for the new logo
Following the recommendations from the Visioning Process, we will shortly be migrating to the expanded name of One Spirit Interfaith Foundation in the publicity and promotion for our work and services. To accompany this, we are now consulting on ideas for an accompanying logo.
The existing round symbol, with its star-burst and faith icons has been in use, in various forms and colours, for several years. We are now looking for something that captures the essence of interfaith and interspiritual ministry and service. It's unlikely that the new symbol will display the various faith logos as the Visioning Process showed that these were selective of only a few faiths, and sometimes caused conflict with other faith representatives. We invite ministers and students to send in your ideas for the logo. We particularly welcome sketches, drawings and doodles (rather than word descriptions). You don't need to be an artist or a graphic designer. We are looking for rough outline sketches and diagrams that we can then ask a professional designer to work-up into a finished design. Please send your sketches, by 16 September, to Rev Lindsay Jarrett, Interfaith Foundation, Communications House, 26 York Street, London W1U 6PZ.
