Invitation to apply to be a mentor 2011-13
We are delighted to invite applications from Ministers to be mentors for the new 1st year students who will begin their Interfaith Seminary training in October. This is a two year commitment, supporting the new students in London through to their Ordination in the summer of 2013. Our mentors have a clear, deep and active role in supporting both students and the teaching faculty, and are themselves supported by a structure of training and supervision. This experience of mentoring amounts to an additional course of experiential training in its own right. For this reason, we now describe it as an experiential training role in mentoring, facilitation skills and spiritual direction. See all Vacancies.

Interfaith events for the public around the country
This autumn, we're hoping to expand the range of interfaith events and short courses for the public all around the country.
If you are organising a public events, course, workshop or retreat, then please consider adding it to our Public Short Course programme. This will get featured on the website, and promoted to 1,100 people each month who have asked to be kept informed. In return, we ask you to display our Marketing Pack materials to everyone who attends, run a table-top display for the Seminary, and collect names and email addresses of people who would like to join our public mailing list.
As part of the Profiling Initiative to raise the national public profile of interfaith ministry, we hope to commission the writing of some short course materials which ministers will then be able to use to deliver to local audiences as part of the programme.
IMA members, please get in touch to have your local courses and events marketed in this way.

We are about to place a further order to minister ID and name badges. If you would like one, please complete the order form in the next few days (IMA member login required).
A reminder that nominations for the elections to the two trustee positions close in three weeks. This election is part of the process of creating a more representative and transparent governance structure arising from the Visioning process.
