Your light and your love
not of this world

In your greatest darkness you have more light in you than you can possibly realise. When you feel hated you have more love in you than you can possibly recognise. When you feel stupid you have more wisdom in you than you would ever know what to do with. When you are in doubt you have more clarity in you that you could ever fathom.

Greetings!

Unexpectedly, our offices will be closed this week due to holidays and ill-health. Please delay contacting the staff team unless the matter is very urgent. Normal services will resume on 22 August.

Dear friends,

I hope you are safe and well, and keeping your centre spiritually. I have been hearing reports of what has been happening in London and Birmingham in the news, and want you to know that I am thinking of you, of all my UK friends and loved ones, and praying for the spirit of the country at this time. Clearly this is an erupting of resentment, anger, hardship and tension that has been simmering for a long time. I am sure that depending on where you live, it is disturbing and unnerving. I pray that not only these eruptions can be brought under control peacefully, but that the causes of the eruptions be looked at compassionately and truthfully, and genuine solutions be sought on all levels to bring long lasting benefit to all. I also pray that you use this as an invitation to deepen in your spiritual maturity, doing whatever helps you most to ground in grace, peace and wisdom, so as to be helpful to those that need it.

Know my love and care is with you, Miranda

A new mentor team is being recruited for the 1st year programme starting in October in north London. Full details about the role will be available in the week of 29 August. We've received three opportunities for ministers to serve as police chaplains. We are following up with the West Midlands Police, and there are published opportunities with Lancashire Constabulary and Surrey Police. These are great opportunities to raise the public profile of interfaith ministry.

Rev Noel Lockyer-Stevens asks us to clarify that he is inviting your words for world peace to be recited at the foot of Everest this autumn.

There is a special discount offer on tickets for ACIM's Jerry Jampolsky workshop and/or gala dinner on 19/20 August in London.

The Foundation's annual report and accounts for 2010, as submitted to the Charity Commission and Companies House are now available.
