Service is Joy
meditation with sand
I slept and dreamt that life was joy.
I awoke and saw that life was service.
I acted and behold, service was joy
(Rabindranath Tagore)

The meditation from Year 2 retreat.

Issue 124 : 17 July 2011
Dear Beloved,

In the Grace-filled Peace of our Ordinands' day of silence, Rev Diane Berke inspired us with her words as she led us so gently into the chanted Blessing of the Angel Gabriel to Mary, in Aramaic:

Meleet Taibuta

You are ready to fulfil your purpose in life

And then Rev Olivea Dewhurst-Maddock led everyone beautifully into that deepest silence with the gentle octave-descending singing to all beings:

How I love you

How I love You

To all the members of our great community, new and old, near and far, we affirm our Blessing to you, our Trust in you, and our Support of you, now and always.  So may it be.
